For corporates, managing business travel for several hundred employees can be a time-consuming task. But Tumodo, a B2B travel firm based in Dubai, claims that with its platform, clients need as little as two minutes.
The company recently raised US$35 million in a pre-seed round co-led by angel investors focused on the Middle East and North Africa (MENA). Tumodo plans to use the cash to boost its presence in the region and scale to 25 more countries by 2026.
Founded in 2023, the company is also developing an AI feature for organizing trips that can be integrated into its clients’ HR systems.
Tumodo’s platform “enhances employee productivity and ensures compliance with travel policies” by setting up business processes and optimizing trip expense management, said Stan Klyuy, the company’s chief commercial officer, said in a statement. As a result, clients can reduce business travel-related costs “by 35% on average,” he added.
Tumodo works with over 400 airlines worldwide, providing customers with over 2 million accommodation options. The company says it has over 100 customers across MENA.
