Multiply and Intel launch NegosyanTech program to support startups in Philippines
Multiply.com, a prominent social shopping site in Southeast Asia, announced in a press release that it is collaborating with Intel’s NegosyanTech program to help SMEs in the Philippines.
NegosyanTech, which derives its name from Negosyante, the Filipino language for entrepreneur, consists of affordable technology solutions for business owners including hardware, business software solutions, connectivity, financial training and local government support.
Multiply and Intel will hold nationwide roadshows, seminars, and gathers every quarter to share the benefits of the NegosyanTech program with entrepreneurs. They are aiming at 12 major cities in the Philippines.
This initiative aligns with Multiply’s goal of supporting, cultivating, and driving startups towards success. Business owners have been using Multiply to sell fashion items and more online. The company provides inventory management software, payment solutions, and courier services to sellers.
Starting life as a pre-Facebook social network, Multiply evolved into a social shopping destination with offices in Manila and Jakarta.
Besides Multiply, LifeJournal is another popular social shopping destination, especially in Singapore, for sellers to ply their trade.
