Sribu, an Indonesia-based crowdsourcing design marketplace, announced that it has been acquired by Japanese human resources firm Mynavi. The deal was completed at the end of last year.

Founded by Ryan Gondokusumo in 2011, Sribu connects companies who are looking for branding and marketing solutions to freelancers that can answer these needs. It has helped more than 15,000 small businesses and corporations, including Telkomsel, Pertamina, and Baidu.
It counts East Ventures, Asteria, and CrowdWorks as its investors.
In a statement, Sribu said the acquisition could help freelancers on its platform connect with more companies outside Indonesia, especially in Japan.
