Founded in 2021 by Daniel van Leeuwen, a former Grab executive, and Christian Hermawan, a financial services veteran, Pina allows users to monitor their assets and invest their wealth in stock or mutual fund products. It also has a specific section for users to learn how to manage their finances properly.
The company has partnered with other asset management companies, Trust Sekuritas, state-owned Bank Negara Indonesia, and security firm Asli RI, all of which offer products and features in its app.
Pina will use the fresh money to accelerate the development of its app, which is slated to be launched in November 2021.
