Malaysia fintech association picks PolicyStreet co-founder as president
The Fintech Association of Malaysia (FAOM) has named Wilson Beh, co-founder of insurtech startup PolicyStreet, as the president of its 2022-2023 committee.

Beh previously held the post of vice president at FAOM in the previous 2021-22 term. He’s been a member since the nonprofit organization’s formation in 2016.
The new executive committee members elected during the recent fifth Annual Grand Meeting (AGM) include:
- Farah Jaafar, managing director of digital securities exchange Fusang, elected as vice president
- Jonathan Lim, partner at law firm Zaid Ibrahim & Co, elected as secretary
- Anil Singh, representative of finance software firm Silverlake Axis, elected as treasurer
The new cohort also included committee members:
- Arvin Singh, co-founder of buy now pay later platform Hoolah
- Calvin Foo, CEO of peer-to-peer financing platform Fundaztic
- Eddy Wong, of insurtech VSure.life
- Lee Chee Seng, Azure Business Group lead at Microsoft
- Marc Fong, innovation lead at insurtech FWD Insurance
- Mukesh Dhawan, founder of insurtech Drivn Fintech
- Naoto Nomura, general manager of Aeon Credit Service
The association also agreed to continue focusing on growing fintech adoption in Malaysia on five core pillars: talent development, investment facilitation, market entry and expansion, tech adoption, and regulatory awareness.
FAOM will form specialized working groups to engage regulators, industry players, and development authorities, and will grow regional links with other associations for greater cross-jurisdictional industry linkages, the association said.
