In brief: Facebook taps VC funds to support SMBs in India
- Facebook announced partnerships with venture capital funds in India to help with the growth of small and medium businesses in the country, Livemint reported.
- Through the “VC Brand Incubator,” which will be the first in a series of programs, Facebook will work with VCs to train and mentor SMBs by sharing insights on best practices as well as proven solutions, and playbooks.
- For the first edition, Facebook has tapped Sauce.vc, a Mumbai-based fund that has worked with startups in the food and beverages, personal care, apparel, and lifestyle spaces.
