Tech in Asia has reached out to Lumiere32 to learn more.
Lumiere32 operates a business-to-business procurement platform that aims to be a one-stop shop for healthcare providers in the region. The startup was recently embroiled in a legal dispute with She1k, the organizer of a pitching competition that it won.
Several sources previously told Tech in Asia that the disagreement stemmed from the funding’s term sheet, which was presented after the competition. She1k filed a lawsuit against Lumiere32 citing a breach of the event’s participation agreement, asking for S$900,803 in damages.
She1k reportedly dropped the case after drawing close to a settlement with Lumiere32, which includes both parties bearing their own legal costs.
