Indonesia To Become A Leading Nation For Tech Start-ups? [INFOGRAPHIC]
The Infographic of the Day series visually expresses important stories from Asia and the world of technology.
Yesterday over on the Media Ide blog, I came across a recent study from Singapore Management University (SMU) about the state of the Indonesia digital media landscape. This is an update from its previous research last March, featuring richer data on the infographic, as well as a fun video explainer.
The video shows the Indonesia start-up ecosystem today, including some Indonesia start-ups, tech investors, the supporting media and community. They ask provocatively “Indonesia will soon be the leading market in tech startup scene, so what are you waiting for?”
Its resource wiki compiles complete trends about the digital world in Indonesia from many credible sources. Internet usage, mobile trends, digital and traditional media platforms, the impact of digital media, case studies, and interview videos with some key persons. Even some controversies in Indonesia have been presented, giving a balanced view.
SMU has also looked at digital media in China, Korea, Japan, Singapore, and other Asia countries. If you look closely, you’ll find a little Penn Olson in there as well.
