Organized by the Singapore infocomm Technology Federation (SiTF), the Singapore Digital Media Festival 2008 is an unique event which is part-conference, part-film festival and part-networking event, DMfest is where IT and media production professionals can engage in meaningful dialogue and discover synergies that will help propel them forward in this market. The theme of this year’s event is “Television 2.0 – Internet Services and New Media Mashup”.

Event description: Key features of the programme include an evening screening of made-for-Internet films and video, including a live HD transmission from North America, and a full-day conference presenting business and technology trends in digital media. The subject matter will cover digital production & visualisation, web-enabled business models and channels of distribution, and building online communities.
