Philippine parenting ecommerce firm raises debt financing from Innoven Capital
Edamama, a Philippine-based ecommerce player that focuses on parenting products, has raised an undisclosed amount in its latest financing round.

- The deal – Innoven Capital’s first investment in the Philippines – pushes Edamama’s total funds raised from investors to US$6 million to date.
- Since its launch in 2020, the company has gotten millions of site visitors and recorded 50x increase of gross merchandise value (GMV).
- It currently offers more than 25,000 SKUs of products from 1,000 brands.
- Edamama wants to use the fresh funds to strengthen its logistics capabilities prior to the close of its series A funding round in early 2022.
- In July, the company announced that it had raised a US$5 million pre-series A funding from Gentree Fund, Robinsons Retail, Kickstart Ventures, and Foxmont Capital Partners.
