Although the amount raised was not disclosed, Zuno said the funds will be used to hire more employees and speed up both its product development and marketing efforts.
Founded in 2020, Zuno aims to automate organizational carbon accounting and help companies measure greenhouse gas emissions and streamline compliance monitoring.
Zuno said it plans to aid the environmental, social, and governance (ESG) teams of different organizations by taking charge of emissions reporting using AI-generated insights.
These AI-based solutions will initially be offered to energy, real estate, and manufacturing firms, as these sectors traditionally witness high greenhouse gas emissions. Zuno’s solutions have been deployed in Singapore, Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and the US.
“We are taking modern engineering approaches to constantly work with our existing customers to enhance our capabilities and make carbon reduction as painless as possible,” said Zuno co-founder and CTO Jon Adams.
