Appota will use the funds to boost its blockchain ecosystem development, specifically the company’s two ongoing projects: ChainVerse (a game publishing platform for local developers) and AceStarter (a blockchain launchpad that helps crypto projects reach the global market).
Quang (Anthony) Tran, Appota’s co-founder and COO, said that as a long-time investor of Appota, Mirae has been crucial in keeping the company’s innovation drive on track. He believes the new investment will make blockchain technology more accessible to all members of the community.
The company also announced its plan to launch a gaming guilds management platform and a Web3 game-streaming platform by the end of 2022.
Early this year, Appota cemented its blockchain bet by investing in the Japanese non-fungible token game project Slime Royale with the aim of bringing blockchain closer to the general public.
