Fans of Dusty Revenge will be able to enjoy twice the fun in the beat-em-up’s new co-op edition. While the game unfortunately only supports local co-op, it does introduce a load of new features.
Apart from the obvious new co-op mode which introduces the new player character Kitsune, there is also an additional level, new bosses, a ‘boss rush’ mode, an unlockable art gallery, and new effects and voiceovers.
PD Design Studio has also mentioned to us the existence of an easter egg feature, though this will not be easy to find. Players will receive a hint after completing the game.
There will also be a 40 percent improvement in regards to the game’s loading time, while Dusty Revenge has on a whole been given added stability. For those who don’t know, Dusty Revenge is the story of an anthromorphic bunny who is out for blood and revenge following the unjust death of his lady love.
Dusty Revenge: Co-op Edition releases on Steam February 17, 2014, which is technically today, but since Steam is headquartered in the USA, we’ll have to wait until it’s their today.
