Dragon Quest Monsters Super Light reaches 2 million downloads

A week ago I was excited to report that Dragon Quest Monsters Super Light reached over a million downloads in under four days. For a Japanese-exclusive game to reach a million so quickly is incredibly impressive, but today Square Enix has announced that the mobile game has now been downloaded over 2 million times in under 2 weeks.

In celebration of this achievement, Dragon Quest Monsters Super Light is offering a present of 300 gems and 3 Metal Slimes to anyone who logs into the game by February 7 at 1:00 A.M. These gems can be used to purchase magical maps that will take you to dungeons that hold specific monsters. Speaking of the maps, if you buy some before February 6 at 14:59, the likelihood of finding the rare eight-headed serpent, Yamatanoorochi, is greatly increased.
