We love games because they let us do things we never could in real life (often because they’re impossible). What’s your favorite gaming “move”?

Iain: Gotta be Witch Time from Bayonetta. Seriously, how much fun is it to both dodge an attack and slow down time? It’s the perfect mix between Devil May Cry and Max Payne, and is that a match made in heaven. In fact, I love it so much, I’m planning on buying a brand new Wii U just so I can play Bayonetta 2. Witch Time 2.0 can’t come fast enough.

Charlie: The hook and lantern combo with Thresh in League of Legends. It’s extremely difficult to pull off (especially if, like me, you’re bad), but when you do manage to land it all, it’s extremely satisfying. It’s especially satisfying to hit a hook over a wall while simultaneously tossing the lantern to a teammate behind you, and then Q again at just the right moment so that you’re both pulled over the wall and into the face of your shocked (and soon to be very dead) enemy. I’ve only managed to do this once, and it may or may not have been partially by accident, but when I did it I felt like shouting “#LCSbigplays!”

Rishi: My favorite gaming move is the one where I switch on my PS4. Oh wait, you mean the one that happens in-game? Hm…I’d have to go with the Demon Hunter’s rapid fire skill in Diablo III. Always useful in a pinch. Especially when all your “friends” decide to die the moment you find yourselves in the bowels of a dungeon swarmed by fugly-looking beasties on every side. Sure, the Demon Hunter has a few more refined skills but I always found rapid fire the most useful of the bunch. After all, who needs friends when you have a seemingly infinite volley of arrows at your disposal to make everything better?

Jing: The Raging Demon in Street Fighter. I don’t know how many times I’ve repeated “jab jab forward short fierce” to myself while playing as Akuma, but you better be ready, because I can let the demon out in 1/10th of a second.
