With its Major Payment Institution license, DTC will be able to provide services for its merchants, which include opening accounts for e-money and non-card transactions as well as transferring funds both domestically and internationally.
Founded in 2019, DTC helps merchants collect online and offline payments as well as process crypto transactions. Its clients hail from industries such as finance and lifestyle.
“Our base in Singapore provides us with the unique competitive advantage to leverage the country’s strong business infrastructure, strong government support, innovation ecosystem, and strong regulatory framework to allow us to expand our company,” said Alice Liu, CEO of DTC.
