- Didi Mobility Japan, a taxi-hailing joint venture by China’s Didi Chuxing and Japan’s SoftBank, said it will expand its service to 13 cities across Japan, Reuters reports.
- The company has launched in Tokyo and Kyoto today, with 10 more locations to follow in the current financial year.
- The app was first rolled out in September 2018 in Osaka, where the company worked with 40 taxi firms in an increasingly crowded market for such apps.
