Singaporean actor and comedian Mark Lee has announced the launch of his own NFT project with King Kong Media Production, which he founded in 2017.

The Kong Collective will initially feature 444 unique pieces of NFT collectibles launched on the Ethereum blockchain. The company said it looks to set a launch price of 1.5 ether, which was decided when 1 ether was worth around US$1,600.
NFTs from the collection will also serve as lifetime memberships that will unlock both digital and physical experiences from King Kong Media Production. This includes tickets to concerts and movie galas, meet-and-greet passes, and exclusive merchandise.
Lee plans to launch the NFT collection later this month, with minting to be done in two phases. The first is tentatively set for August 20, while the second is initially scheduled on September 3.
“For a start, we would like to experiment with fan engagement and how we can provide value for our NFT owners,” he added.
