If choosing which stocks to invest in is hard enough, analyzing your portfolio is even harder. Calling itself “web analytics for investing”, lovely Stockalicious seems to be the answer for individual investors looking for a tool to help them keep track of their portfolio.
Their live demo shows a sample portfolio with your transaction activity and a graph showing your paper gains and losses.

Clicking on each stock symbol brings you to a Google Finance stock quote that is integrated with the site. They also provide information from Yahoo! Finance, Market Watch, MSN Money as well as from The Options Industry Council and SEC for financial statements.
Apart from the usual freemium route by providing basic free analytical software and charging for more robust features, I suspect the integration with OIC and SEC provide clues to a potential business model. Perhaps they can sign on information partners who would pay to be a default stock quote search on Stockalicious.
In this trying time of market crashes, a little humour helps take away some of the pain of losing 60% of your portfolio value. Check out their simple How It Works page:

On another note, Stockalicious is funded by Front Edge and MDA under the iJAM programme.
Stockalicious has also veered away from the now-commonplace blog that all (hip) startups seem to have and have stuck to a forum where they answer questions and gather feedback from users. They write well and throw in light-hearted arrogance throughout.
