Creative Galileo was established by Prerna Jhunjhunwala and Nikhil Naik in 2021 to provide inclusive and equitable education. It caters to students aged three to 10 with its early-learning platform.

With 7 million downloads and 700,000 monthly active users, Creative Galileo said it is the only early-learning platform that is part of the top 20 educational apps in India’s Play Store.

Moving ahead, the firm plans to expand to Southeast Asia, establishing partnerships with international companies such as EBS Korea to support its growth. It also looks to use funds from this round for hiring staff abroad, scaling up its business, adding regional languages to its platform, and strengthening its research and development.

The fresh raise comes as the global edtech industry is projected to grow to a value of US$319.7 billion by 2029 at a compound annual growth rate of 17.8%.

Other investors in this round include:

  • Affirma Capital
  • Valiant Employee Investment Fund
