In brief: Cocoon Capital launching new $20m fund for Southeast Asian startups
Singapore-based seed investor Cocoon Capital is launching its second US$20 million fund for startups in Southeast Asia, particularly those in [niches such as] deep tech, fintech, and medtech. Cocoon has achieved its first close at about US$13 million and aims to secure its final close by end-2018. Cocoon launched its first fund worth US$7 million in 2016.
