US mobile marketing platform bags $26m from Sequoia India, others
California-based CleverTap raised US$26 million in a series B round led by Sequoia India, boosting its valuation to more than US$150 million.
Accel Partners and new investor Tiger Global Management also participated in the round.

CleverTap plans to use the fresh funds to improve its product capabilities, scale its operations, and drive product innovation.
The SaaS startup uses its proprietary AI engine to provide companies with immediate customer insight to optimize the performance of their apps. It claims to have driven over US$2 billion in incremental revenue for its customers.
CleverTap recently opened an Asia-Pacific headquarters in Singapore and operates in San Francisco, London, Mumbai, and Bengaluru.
