Founded by Akanksha Jagwani and Avni Agrawal in 2018, SixSense – through its classification software – helps semiconductor manufacturers identify defects at scale.
The company’s tech scans millions of products per year and uses AI to automatically identify defects. The platform can also explain to engineers why these mistakes occur, helping predict errors in manufacturing equipment before too much damage is done.
The Singapore-based firm’s offering reduces the time it takes to check products, increases the accuracy of inspection, and helps limit revenue loss due to operational mistakes.
This investment marks the first deployment of the Tin Men Fund II. Founded by Jeremy Tan and Murli Ravi, Singapore-based venture capital firm Tin Men focuses on supporting B2B firms in Southeast Asia.
