China's LPL announces full summer schedule and new, bigger venue

As I recently wrote in our 2014 LPL Summer preview, the new season of Chinese League of Legends is almost upon us. Games start this weekend, and Tencent has released the full match schedule, which you can find below.

As usual, we will be shoutcasting every LPL match live in English on our Twitch.tv channel.

Along with the match schedule, though, Tencent has also announced that the summerโ€™s matches will be held in a new venue: the Expo Stage from the 2010 Shanghai Expo. The Expo Stage (pictured above under a previous name) can seat more than 1,000 fans, making it bigger than the LPLโ€™s previous venue.

Even if you canโ€™t read Chinese, the schedule above should be pretty easy to decipher as long as you know this: when you see a date like 6ๆœˆ14ๆ—ฅ, the first number is the month (June) and the second is the day (14th). The approximate times listed on the left-hand side for each match are in Beijing time, but if youโ€™re in a different timezone you can just check the weekly schedule on lolesports.com, which will have the match times in your computerโ€™s local timezone automatically.
