Ninjacart connects farms to the businesses that want to buy from them – like restaurants and grocery stores. It helps farmers figure out what to grow and when, and what not to sow.

2. Teamie | Singapore (Startup Profile)

Education startup Teamie was founded in 2011 with the aim of creating a social, collaborative online tool for classrooms and businesses. Now it offers online learning programs for various levels, including school, college, and enterprise. The service is available in web and mobile app form.

3. Baca | Indonesia

Baca is a news aggregator app for Indonesia. Bada analyzes which news get read by app users, and serves them more content based on those preferences.

4. Retty | Japan (Startup Profile)

Japan’s social restaurant review service Retty lets users rate and review restaurants as well as follow their Facebook friends or gourmet experts to create a personal list of restaurants to visit.

5. Moglix | India (Startup Profile)

Moglix is a business-to-business ecommerce site that connects merchants to suppliers of industrial products. Its categories span electricals to plumbing to welding. The site accepts cash on delivery payments as well as debit and credit cards.

6. Medinfi | India (Startup Profile)

Healthcare startup Medinfi app offers location-based information on doctors and hospitals in the user’s vicinity. The team verifies the professionals on the platform itself and then users can rate them and leave comments for others, much like Yelp or TripAdvisor. It also helps users keep tabs on their elderly parents, and would like to eventually partner with the likes of Uber and Ola to send a car to pick them up for checkups and tests.
