Japan’s Giftee backs Indonesian customer retention startup
Tada, a customer retention platform based in Indonesia, said it bagged an undisclosed sum from Giftee, a Japanese e-gift firm.

- As part of a collaboration with the Japanese firm, Tada has linked its platform with Giftee Malaysia and Giftee Mekong’s e-gift service. The latter is a joint venture between Vietnam’s Mekong Communications and Giftee Malaysia.
- Tada currently has over 400 clients across several verticals, including banking, insurance, consumer goods, restaurants, and others. Some major firms it serves are Axa, Allianz, DBS, UOB, Castrol, Exxon, Kalbe Nutritionals, and Erha Dermatology, among others.
- In collaboration with the Indonesia-based startup, Giftee said it will expand its e-gift service and platform in Southeast Asia beyond Malaysia and Vietnam.
- Tada will use the fresh capital to improve its services, including an end-to-end customer retention platform, and expand further.
