esportsearnings.com charts tournament prize pots and lists earnings from individuals and teams. While it looks comprehensive at first glance, the website is missing plenty of information just based on the Singapore page alone. Player names are missing and tournament winnings have been omitted.
Certain players, like League of Legends player Chawy, have had their names repeated, or their nicknames attributed to another party. Others – like alt)Duckie, who attended the Blizzard Worldwide Invitational in 2004 – aren’t even listed.
Evolution Championship Series 2012 Soul Calibur V winner Jovian ‘Shen Chan’ Chan is listed as having won a cool $0. His payout from the competition was approximately $3,000.
StarCraft II poster boy Marcus ‘Revenant’ Tan is listed as having won just $700. However he has confirmed with Games in Asia that his actual approximate winnings are S$13,000 ($10,500).
That being said, the site does seem very new. Its ‘About’ and ‘Contact’ pages aren’t even up yet. Hopefully the accuracy of its reporting will improve with time.
