Japanese With Tummy-Aches Tweet for Relief

Ponponpa.in is a wonderfully simple website from Japan that aims to bring relief to anyone suffering from a stomach ache by bringing them together on Twitter.

The site’s name, PonponPain, is a clever one. “Pon pon” is sort of kiddie talk for stomach (akin to ‘tummy’). So Twitter users who experience #ponponpain can send out a Tweet with that hashtag. As a result, stomach-ache sufferers from all over Japan are gathered on a single webpage. You’ll never have to suffer alone again!

Perhaps if @pepto is looking to bring its stomach relief medicine to Japan, they should consider sponsoring these guys!
