Doctor Anywhere, a Singapore-based healthtech firm, has secured US$40.8 million in a series C1 extension round. Investors include Square Peg and Novo Holdings.

In a statement, the company said that it will use the new capital to build a “vertically integrated digital healthcare ecosystem” and expand its services focused on secondary care.

“Our goal is to empower individuals to take charge of their health and well-being with early detection and preventive measures against chronic illnesses,” said Lim Wai Mun, founder and CEO of Doctor Anywhere.

The company aims to introduce new services, strengthen strategic partnerships, and explore acquisition opportunities. In December 2022, it acquired medical services group Asian Healthcare Specialists for over US$76 million.

Last year, Doctor Anywhere recorded revenue of US$38.2 million with a loss of US$33 million. By the end of this year, the firm aims to increase its revenue to US$74 million, as previously reported by Tech in Asia.

Founded in 2017, Doctor Anywhere provides on-demand healthcare services, including primary care, specialist care, and telehealth. It has 2.5 million users across Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, and the Philippines.

The company has raised a total of US$176.3 million in funding to date, according to Tech in Asia’s database.
