Genesys, a US-based software company, has agreed to acquire AI-driven SaaS startup Radarr Technologies for an undisclosed amount. The acquisition is expected to close in the first quarter of 2025.
Formerly known as Circus Social, Singapore-based Radarr Technologies was co-founded by Ram Bhamidi and Prerna Pant in 2013.
It helps companies make decisions based on relevant real-time online conversations – on social media and other digital platforms – through data visualizations, dashboards, and insights reporting. With the acquisition, Genesys said Radarr’s tech will broaden its consumer engagement services.
Genesys’ AI-powered technology connects customer movements across marketing, sales, and service channels, while improving employee experiences.
“As consumers increasingly turn to social media platforms to connect with brands for support, these channels become a crucial and largely untapped opportunity for organizations to engage with customers and glean valuable business insights,” Tony Bates, Genesys CEO and chairman, said.
Radarr Technologies had previously raised US$1 million in a pre-series A round in 2021. Aside from Singapore and India, it has a presence in Indonesia, Malaysia, India, Japan, the US, and the Middle East, among others.
