Blizzard launches Heroes of the Storm alpha; check out this detailed walkthrough

Blizzard‘s Heroes of the Storm is one of Asia’s most anticipated upcoming MOBAs. And now, regular gamers are finally starting to get their hands on it. Yesterday, Blizzard sent out alpha keys to a few lucky gamers, and while you may not have been one of them, that doesn’t mean you can’t get a taste for how the game works.

In terms of gameplay, you won’t see much here, but this video gives you a thorough walkthrough of things like the game’s leveling system, quest systems, and even how the champion and skin stores work.

One interesting thing this video mentions in passing but doesn’t discuss in detail is the game’s mounts. Mounts in Heroes of the Storm at the moment increase a player’s movement speed, and everyone starts with a regular horse mount, but presumably eventually you’ll be able to buy upgrades to far more epic beasts.
