Indonesian ecommerce firm Blibli said it has become an Apple Authorized Marketplace and will start only listing products sold by Apple Authorized Resellers.

In a statement, the company said the move guarantees the authenticity of Apple products on its platform. It has already started removing Apple products on its marketplace that are not sold by authorized resellers.
Blibli is backed by local conglomerate Djarum Group, which also owns private banking major BCA as well as a major tobacco business.
However, a Momentum Works report showed that the ecommerce firm is relatively small compared to major players such as Tokopedia and Shopee. Blibli occupies the third tier alongside JD.id, which also promotes its platform as a place for authentic products.
In 2021, Blibli said it had achieved unicorn status and announced plans to go public this year.
