Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year 2005

Entrepreneurs extraordinaire (dated 10 March 2006, Jane CHiapoco, Today Online)
We have a winner from Singapore to go to Monte Carlo for the big competition. That’s Mr Vikas Foel, chairman and group managing director of eSys Technologies.

Actually, I read with interest to Dr Vivian Balakrishnan, our Minister for Community Development, Youth, and Sports and also 2nd Minister for Trade and Industry, who said the following, “Entrepreneurship is critical for Singapore’s success and I am aware that entrepreneurs cannot be manufactured. However, we can create the right enabling environment — one that is open to new ideas and empowers entrepreneurs to seize new opportunities.” I will leave that comment in place which come timely to my next blog entry.
