These projects were chosen from more than 650 applications worldwide.
The program aims to empower projects and founders building decentralized apps (DApps) on BNB Chain. The incubation phase will last for six to eight weeks, where selected projects will join MVB’s coaching sessions, workshops, and fireside chats from market leaders.
This year’s projects include developers from five main sectors: blockchain infrastructure, decentralized finance, decentralized autonomous organizations (DAOs), non-fungible tokens, and GameFi.
Here are the projects in MVB’s fifth cohort:
- Web3Go: An open data analytics platform where users can discover, curate, and visualize multiblockchain data. It supports Polkadot, Kusama, and Ethereum, among others.
- Space ID: A decentralized, open-sourced universal identifier network that connects people, information, assets, and applications in the digital world. It is built on BNB Chain and can work across all chains.
- Multi-chain Event Protocol (MEP): A communication protocol that serves as an authentication infrastructure for DApps.
- Overeality: A multichain infrastructure in the metaverse for DAOs. It offers NFTs that feature celebrities, GameFi, and events for its community.
- Port3 Network: A Web3 gateway that provides DAO tools, community profiling, and social data analytics.
- Nakji Network: A platform that links traditional web infrastructure to blockchains for data consumers and producers, allowing communication in real time between the centralized and decentralized worlds.
- Zash: An API that helps map complex NFT data into intelligible fields such as collection, buyer, seller, price, and marketplace. It currently works on the Solana and Ethereum blockchains.
- Metasset: A Web3-based NFT affiliate network that allows users to open a store, recommend NFTs, and earn commissions via smart contracts.
- Staging Labs: A Web3 security platform that protects crypto assets by setting transaction limits and monitoring crypto wallets for potential threats. It can also transfer assets to a backup wallet in case of an attack.
- InsurAce Protocol: An insurance service for decentralized finance traders with low premiums and sustainable investment returns. The platform currently works on 19 blockchains and covers more than US$330 million worth of assets.
- Antimatter DAO: An ecosystem that acts as a gateway for DeFi derivatives. Its features include cross-currency trading, tokenized perpetual options, structured products, decentralized communities, and NFTs.
- Tender Fi: An open-sourced lending and borrowing protocol that allows for collateralization of virtual assets and off-chain liquidation.
- Wink Financial: A financial services provider for DAOs that helps clients manage their crypto payroll, mass payouts, multi-signature security, and treasury.
- Aperture Finance: A crypto yield generation platform that provides cross-chain yield farming, yield strategy, and optimization, as well as a software development kits for community developers.
- Velvet Capital: A crypto portfolio management tool that offers ready-made portfolios, automatic rebalancing, tax optimization, and yield farming.
- Deus Ex Securitas: A security provider that uses machine learning to audit smart contracts automatically. Its natural language processing models can identify and classify vulnerabilities in scripts, which helps reduce the time and costs of audit projects.
- IdentDeFi: A decentralized and open solution for on-chain compliance that uses zero-knowledge proof. It allows users to stay anonymous while still enabling DeFi protocols to recognize customers without having to onboard them via KYC.
- Kola Labs: A decentralized community for music in the metaverse that incorporates multiple blockchain services such as NFT economics, incentive protocol, and DAO governance.
- AnyDAO: A DAO building platform on the Ethereum blockchain that lets users build and manage their own decentralized community.
- FusePass: A Web3-based recruitment platform that allows job seekers to create Web3 resumes, discover job opportunities, and engage with recruiters. Meanwhile, employers can search and filter talent through the FusePass discovery engine.
- Orange Protocol: A reputation management portal for Web3 users that aggregates both on-chain and off-chain data to create reputation proofs in the form of verifiable credentials and NFTs.
- Rareboard: An NFT aggregator that allows users to mint and trade NFTs from various marketplaces at no extra cost.
- GiroGiro AI: An infrastructure developer that aims to “bring NFTs to life.” It uses AI to enable NFTs to chat with their holders, create artworks, as well as collaborate with other NFTs or real-life artists.
- Double Protocol: A decentralized and open-source NFT rental marketplace for metaverse and GameFi assets. It allows users to rent these assets on-demand without collateral and offers subletting capabilities for NFTs.
- CryptoZombie: A free and interactive coding school that teaches users to build blockchain games using the Solidity programming language. Learners can also earn NFTs and bonuses by completing coding lessons.
- Meta Apes: Set in a post-apocalyptic world ruled by apes, this play-to-earn massively multiplayer online game will allow users to play an ape character and build their clans to compete for space domination.
- Gameta: A metaverse developer that aims to bring people to Web3 through its play-to-earn games. The platform allows users to create on-chain addresses automatically, as well as build their own DAOs and earn tokens in the Gameta ecosystem.
A rebrand of Binance Chain and Binance Smart Chain, BNB Chain was launched in February this year. The ecosystem currently has 1,300 active DApps and processes about US$3 billion worth of transactions daily.
The MVB program is co-led by BNB Chain and Binance Labs. Some of the key projects backed by the program are MCDEX, Biswap, Deri Protocol, and Woo Network.
