Weploy, an Australia-based staffing platform, has officially expanded to Vietnam, where it wants to capitalize on businesses’ demand to hire a large number of seasonal workers.

The Weploy app was officially launched in Vietnam on March 2. The company said it will conduct candidate interviews and organize training sessions for businesses that recruit temporary staff through its platform.

Weploy Vietnam said it already has a network of 250 screened businesses, offering about 9,000 seasonal jobs.

Founded in 2017 by Tony Wu, Vince Luong, and Nick La, Weploy offers on-demand staffing and workforce management through its platform. The firm’s Vietnam business will be led by Steve Trang.

Weploy said that its services have been used by hundreds of clients in Australia, including Volkswagen, Super Retail Group, Medibank, and OVO Energy.
