Hello readers,
For all its faults, I really like living in Singapore. I complain a lot about it, but hey, complaining is practically our national hobby anyway.
People have asked me if I’d ever consider migrating overseas but after being entrenched here for so long, it’s hard to imagine leaving behind all the familiar sights and sounds. Moving into a new place would most likely be a good experience, but it would be intimidating nonetheless.
I’ve been crafting these newsletters for some time now, so it’s nice that I’m finally writing it in the same week that a Singaporean medical group has gotten the biggest fundraise. Of course, we’ve got startups in other countries taking home some nice bags too, but let me have this moment at least.
