Muslim Pro App is New and Improved, Added Features for Muslims on the Go

The Muslim demographic can be a big target market for business. Pew Research Center’s Forum on Religion & Public Life predicts that the Muslim population will grow to 35 percent of the world’s total population by 2030, when there will be 2.2 billion muslims around the world. It’s a promising market.

Islamic mobile application, Muslim Pro just announced a new update, and it has been downloaded over 1 million times on Google Play.

Muslim Pro 2.0 is a complete visual and functional revamp for its Android application. The update is also available on Apple’s App Store for iPhone and iPod users with Muslim Pro 5.x. The latest version also provides Android ecosystem support with a brand new Google+ page.

The 2.0 version presents the new looks with sleek design to support Android’s latest Ice Cream Sandwich and Jellybean iterations. For Muslim travellers, you can locate halal restaurants and mosques nearby. It’s also easier to continuously worship Allah with the 99 beautiful names of Allah in Hasma Ul-Usma feature. The existing features also received improvements, like prayer time, adhan, qibla locator, and audio Qur’an ¹.

Unfortunately, the 2.0 version is still crashing on Android. But I understand the developer will be fixing the bugs right away with the 2.0.1 version.

You can upgrade to the premium version for $4.99 to read the full Quran, remove banner ads, and use the widget, select different adhan, and access email support. Note that 20 percent of its proceeds are given to an Islamic charity organization. If you’re not happy with paying the app, just enjoy the free version.

This app gives easy to use complete pocket guide, especially for frequent Muslim travellers. Muslim Pro features might help a lot by simply find local halal delicacies or helping your locate Qibla in your hotel room.
