Business Excellence Simulation Training (B.E.S.T) has been developed in-house by NTUC Income to enhance entrepreneurial skills among employees. It allows several teams to compete in a realistic simulated environment pertaining to the insurance industry and it covers a period of several years.
It also challenges the participants on their strategic thinking and execution, giving them several years of realistic practical training within two hours.
About B.E.S.T Entrepreneur Challenge 2005
The Challenge is made up of three separate categories, i.e. B.E.S.T Inter-varsity, B.E.S.T Inter-poly and B.E.S.T “Open” with three different stages.
In the first stage, teams from the same varsity will compete against each other with the top two advancing to the semi-finals of this category. The two semi-finalists from each varsity will compete in this round and the top three teams will advance to the Grand Finals of the B.E.S.T Entrepreneurial Challenge 2005. However, for being the winners of the B.E.S.T Inter-varsity Challenge, the top three teams will stand to win up to $3,500 worth of cash prizes. The Grand Finals will consist of winners from the varsity, poly and “Open” categories. The top three teams will be the winners of the B.E.S.T Entrepreneurial Challenge 2005 where another $5,000 worth of cash prizes stand to be won.
