Southeast Asia lags behind the global average in terms of providing employee benefits, says a report by the International Labour Organization cited today by the HR startup Payroll Hero.
Some countries like Malaysia and the Philippines perform poorly, offering only 8 weeks. The average across the region is just over 3 months leave.
Mongolia and Vietnam perform best, offering 17 weeks paid leave.
