Banshee’s Last Cry goes from Super Famicom to iOS

I don’t know about you, but as a literature major I really enjoy interactive novels because they are a fusion of my two greatest passions. So it pleases me to announce that Banshee’s Last Cry, an interactive novel released on the Super Famicon in 1994, is now available in English for the first time ever thanks to Aksys Games.

Banshee’s Last Cry is a murder-mystery/thriller game in which your actions directly impact the world around you, most notably through how your failure to find clues usually ends with somebody else dying. Dark, huh? There are also multiple endings and a whole range of side quests for you to explore.

Banshee’s Last Cry is already receiving a whole load of praise on iTunes and is available for $3.99 on the North American app store. We are still awaiting word for launch in Asian stores.

An Android version is in the works and will be announced later.
