Bandung Meetup: Mobile Apps Monetization & Distribution

This June we’ll hold Tech in Asia Meetup Bandung, where we’ve invited Samsung and Vserv to talk about mobile apps, monetization, and distribution.

We are glad to have Nicholas Foo, who heads developer relations for Samsung Asia, to share with us how to enhance and monetize mobile apps with help from Samsung. Also, we have David Yin, general manager of developer alliances at Vserv, to share with us four ways to improve app monetization results.

For developers who are also interested in learning more about what Samsung and Verv have to offer in the developer space, a workshop has been specially prepared for you right after the meetup! In the workshop, developers will get a chance to work on Samsung API tools and integrate the Vserv wrapper, which helps to monetize apps. Technical staff will also be there to assist developers during the workshop.

1. Participants who wish to attend the workshop must currently have a published mobile application. The focus is cross platform developers on Android, Java, and WP8, (but not iOS).
2. Only participants who attend the early noon meetup sessions are allowed to attend the workshop. Please bring along your laptop for the workshop!

Speaker:

Nicholas Foo

Nicholas leads the developer relations team at Samsung for its markets in Southeast Asia, and Oceania. He has enjoyed a career collaborating with mobile developers to create applications on mobile devices in different scopes of developer relations, from technical to business and marketing. His focus is now on amplifying the use of Samsung’s plugins in developer applications and services.

David Yin

David Yin is the general manager of developer alliances for vserv.mobi and heads mobile application developer partnerships across Southeast Asia. Vserv’s AppWrapper solution offers developers a simple one click app monetisation approach to the monetisation of apps.
