Hello reader,

One of the things I’m beyond excited about is Tech in Asia Conference 2022.

For one, we haven’t had an in-person event of this scale in a hot minute. On top of that, the Main Stage in Singapore alone has three tracks that I’m looking forward to experiencing.

The first track is “Aspiring,” where we’ll delve into what it takes to make it in Asia’s tech scene and hear from successful startups on how they turned their big ideas into realities.

The next track is “Scaling,” where we’ll hear from those who’ve grown fledgling businesses into billion-dollar empires.

Lastly – and most importantly, in my opinion – there’s the “Sustaining” track, where we’ll join key decision-makers in uncovering the path forward for Asia’s tech ecosystem from an economic and ecological sustainability standpoint.

We’re just three weeks away from the Conference, so if what I shared above is making you even half as excited as me, then get your tickets now!

Anyway, SME-focused Funding Societies’ US$50 million debt facility from HSBC Singapore made our list of the biggest deals of the week. According to the digital financing platform, the fund will be disbursed through tailored loan products for SMEs in Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, and Vietnam.

You can find all other important investment deals that happened in the last few days in our weekly funding news wrap-up.

Let’s dive into the biggest deals and M&As that recently took place.

The biggest deals by country
