Indonesia’s SiCepat raises $170m in series B round from Falcon House, others

Indonesian logistics startup SiCepat announced that it has raised a total of US$170 million in investment, which included the US$50 million that the company raised in December 2020.

  • Stage: Series B

  • With the fresh capital, SiCepat will further invest in its logistics services and infrastructure and potentially explore expansion into other markets in Southeast Asia.
  • The company claims it is closer to attain unicorn status, which is valued at over US$1 billion.
  • It currently provides last-mile, warehousing and fulfillment, and commerce-enabling services, as well as online distribution and middle-mile logistics.
  • Founded in 2014, the logistics startup claims it was profitable and able to fulfill more than 1.4 million packages per day in 2020.
  • In April 2019, the company raised US$50 million in its series A round from Kejora InterVest Growth Fund.
