Singapore accelerator Iterative selects 10 startups for its Summer 2021 cohort
Singapore-based startup accelerator Iterative has announced the batch of companies shortlisted for its Summer 2021 cohort.
The shortlisted startups will receive US$150,000 in funding in exchange for a 10% stake. Iterative helps founders connect with partners, peers, other business leaders, industry experts, and investors, among others.

Iterative said that the round saw applications from more than 330 companies. Iterative spent over 130 hours in interviews and finalized 10 firms for the cohort.
Here are the startups that made it to the Iterative Summer 2021 cohort:
AcadArena
The startup focuses on building campus gaming in Southeast Asia. Its campus esports program is already live in the Philippines. Besides young students, the startup also works with schools.
Botsync
Singapore-based Botsync is a robotics-focused startup that builds heavy-duty autonomous mobile robots to help the logistics and manufacturing industry automate point-to-point goods movement.
Friz
Singapore-based Friz is a neobank that focuses on freelancers, who often find it difficult to get credit or loans from traditional banks.
Hawkr
Malaysia-based Hawkr claims to be the ‘Airbnb for food’. The company helps create micro-cloud kitchens and makes it easier for home cooks to provide food service to their communities. Launched in March 2021, Hawkr has already onboarded more than 65 micro-cloud kitchens.
