Drone-tech startup signs lease financing deal with Grip
The US$495,000 deal between Aarav Unmanned Systems (AUS) and Grip, an alternative investment platform, paves the way for retail investors to pour money into India’s growing drone ecosystem.
Founded in 2013, AUS is the first Indian company to develop professional drone solutions for enterprises and get a small category (weighing below 2 kilograms) drone certification from the civil aviation regulator.
AUS has mapped more than 15,000 villages and 35 cities so far.
