Low said that he and his co-founder Thomas Jiang have been working on the new startup since February. Ajourney is a work journal for managers that helps them improve productivity and make better decisions.
Prior to Ajourney, Low co-founded online grocery startup Honestbee in 2015. At its peak, the firm had a presence in eight countries across Asia. However, mismanagement over the years upended operations, which eventually led to Low’s departure in 2019 and the company’s final cessation in 2020.
In an interview with Tech in Asia after leaving Honestbee, Low said that inadequate management culture was the culprit behind the company’s predicament, and that he was looking to apply the lessons from his experience in a “saner, better workplace.”
