Southeast Asia’s only fighting game major takes place near the end of June, but the hype for it is already getting real.
Singapore’s Tekken community is holding a tournament tomorrow, April 26, 2014 for Tekken Tag Tournament 2. The top eight players from that competition will be granted free entry to both the South East Asia Major 2014 (SEA Major) venue as well as to the Tekken competition held there.
The tournament will start at 1:30 P.M. in the Bugis Junction mall’s arcade, TKA Virtualand. Entrance to the tournament costs S$2 ($1.60), and gives you an optional discount for your entry into the SEA Major Tekken Tag Tournament 2 competition.
Cash prizes for this weekend’s Tekken showdown total S$150 ($119.35). The SEA Major 2014 venue has yet to be announced.
