Yet another Three Kingdoms card game? Yes, but one with the added dimension of poker hands. 3 Kingdoms and Poker adds poker hands to your standard card battle game. Playing a hand powers up the cards you use, and gives you an advantage over the enemy. However as with your typical mobile card game, you play against the AI, with only the option of having a friend along for extra social points. The game has cute visuals and a high amount of polish; I’m just not sure if the developer really understood poker, because the game told me that an eight of hearts and a four and five of spades made a straight.
3 Kingdoms and Poker is still worth a try on Android and iOS.
Swords & Poker

Konami’s Swords & Poker meshes poker cards with an adventure RPG, where you must play poker hands on a pre-arranged board in order to defeat monsters. There’s a nice little story about saving the world tied in as well, though we haven’t seen much of that since the game is slow moving. Each area has several monsters which you must clear before you can progress. As with all games from Konami we’ve seen so far, Swords & Poker looks and feels great, but is a little too slow-paced and niche-focused to dethrone the similarly-titled Puzzle & Dragons.
