Next-gen Assassin’s Creed fans may be excited for Unity, but if you’re still rocking one of the last-gen consoles, you’re probably following Assassin’s Creed Rogue, the PS3 and Xbox 360 exclusive that’s slated to come out on November 11. And now we’ve got some good news for Chinese-speakers: the traditional Chinese version of the game will be available that same day, so there will be no long wait for the game to be localized.
We don’t know a ton about Rogue just yet, but the game puts you in the roles of a Templar (!) named Shay Patrick Cormac. It’ll feature both sea- and land-based gameplay like Black Flag and will apparently tie in to both the plot of that game and the plot of the upcoming Unity. It sounds like the game will feature a variety of locales as well, as Ubisoft has said that “you’ll hunt those you previously called brothers from the streets of New York City to the frozen and fractured glacial landscapes of the Arctic Circle.”
As usual, Ubisoft’s Asia-based studios in Singapore and Chengdu are contributing to the development of Rogue, although Ubisoft Sofia is the lead studio on the project.
