Ebola, Flappy Bird, and Jennifer Lawrence top Asia’s trending Google searches in 2014

Google’s year-end lists are by now an annual tradition. What’s a better way to recap the past 365 days than analyzing what the world searched for online?

With some help from Google, below we’ve aggregated and translated Asia’s trending search terms for the year 2014. It’s hard to spot common threads non-scientifically, but as the company has noted on its APAC blog, Xiaomi appears to have attracted plenty of interest outside of China, and Flappy Bird won over masochists worldwide.
