Ebola, Flappy Bird, and Jennifer Lawrence top Asiaโ€™s trending Google searches in 2014

Googleโ€™s year-end lists are by now an annual tradition. Whatโ€™s a better way to recap the past 365 days than analyzing what the world searched for online?

With some help from Google, below weโ€™ve aggregated and translated Asiaโ€™s trending search terms for the year 2014. Itโ€™s hard to spot common threads non-scientifically, but as the company has noted on its APAC blog, Xiaomi appears to have attracted plenty of interest outside of China, and Flappy Bird won over masochists worldwide.
